Monday..what a lovely day God has given us!!
So I didn't have class today, at all! that means only three days of class this week. Wow! I feel like such a slacker. I also really need to start working on my Bible study stuff for tonight. We are doing an inductive study on Romans. My roommate and I are now at chapter 3 ver 22 I think. And we forgot about it so now I am left to look up stuff. Which will be good for me. The Bible is so much more intriguing now a days than it used to be. It is amazing how much desire God has given me lately. Also because I have not wasted 1100 minutes of my month anymore on the phone. Wow that just gives you so much time. Well it may also be the fact that my two classes a week don't take up too much of my time.
Well it is time to go!!.

Well, I'm not really sure how to respond to your comment on my blog about you and Josh since I don't know much about you or what you two did together. He told us that both of you had decided to slow down your relationship, which honestly sounded fine to me because Josh isn't ready to get married anyway. I hope you have not parted with no intention to remain in contact in the future. I know Josh is not too good at communicating; I hope there are no problems or bad feelings in your relationship with him. Hmmmm… I am sure Mom could have said all of that a lot better then I just did.

Hey Megan!
This is Jennifer, Emily's sister (and Josh's too :)
Just wanted to say hi and I've been reading your blog... keep the posts coming!
God bless,
Jennifer
I posted just for you jennifer
Hi Megan,
It sounds like you have an exciting life - the study on Romans must be challenging. I told my husband to comment on the OT/NT part, but I know he won't get around to it. And the breakfast for the homeless sounds like a neat ministry - wish I had some experience like that.
Being a mother of 7 ..... was a lot harder when there was only one, as I had no experience with kids or babies and was completely shocked by it. I also read some parenting magazines that gave me bad info on how to do it - so Josh is all messed up because of it! It was hard up until there were 4 - then the older one could start helping out a lot more. Now, with 2 teenage daughters that help out a lot, it is a lot easier. But I will be losing them for 10 days while they go on a trip - that will be a challenge! Who will cook??!! The 12 y/o says if it's up to him, we'll be having bean dip for 10 days! :o)
About Joshua - what did he tell you when he said he wanted to slow down the relationship?? And now, what did he say when you talked tonight and you told him he was mean? One thing that is interesting, is that last week I asked him how long it had been since he talked to you, he said, "about 2 weeks" while you said on your blog "a month" (if you were talking about him.) Different perceptions!
One of the things going on is that we are studying dating vs. courtship and learning as we go along. We had talked to the kids about it before, but didn't know too many details about how to go about it. Thus, you are experiencing changes in Joshua as he learns more about relating to girls.
I was single for 6 years after college and thus saw different friends go through difficulties and broken hearts in relating with guys when expectations weren't met, so we want to teach our children to try to prevent that from going on.
Let's keep talking - my email address is: garyduff@surfbest.net if you want to make it more private! I've got to post on my blog again!!
